As a member church of Barking Churches Unite we are pleased to support the work of The Source, based at 37A Vicarage Shopping Centre, Barking, IG11 8DH. The Source aims to serve the people of Barking by providing practical help and support, an information service about local welfare facilities, prayer and counselling, and office facilities for the ministries of the Barking churches including the Barking Kidz Klub, the Barking Music Academy and the Barking Business Chaplaincy.
Other services provided by The Source include a regular buffet meal for homeless people, a monthly bereavement support service, and a ten-week arts and crafts course. Visitors can be issued with vouchers for the local Food Bank or referred to the Hope 4 Barking and Dagenham Night Shelter.
In January 2018 The Source welcomed 1400 guest visitors and in February 2018 1366 guest visitors were welcomed. Further information can be obtained from 020 8594 2404.
