Our church is a member of Barking Churches Unite (BCU), a charitable group representing churches and Christians in Barking who are committed to working and praying together for the transformation of our community and who uphold the Evangelical Alliance basis of faith. Unity is not uniformity and the BCU membership includes churches that have different expressions of faith but who stand together as the Body of Christ in our town.
Prayer is a priority for BCU and activities include street prayer and joint prayer meetings, regular meetings of children’s and youth leaders for prayer, an an intercessors group praying reglarly for the Barking community.
BCU has a special concern for the poor and needy in our community and practical ministries in the town include The Source, Hope4Barking and Dagenham, Kidz Klub, Barking Food Bank, Street Pastors, the Barking Business Chaplaincy, Young at Heart, and Companions.
