Stephen Hammond gave his life to Jesus in 1993, and was baptised by full water immersion in 1994. Since that time, he have been actively involved in evangelism, church planting and ministry. He started attending Barking Baptist church at the beginning of 2020, and after being accepted into membership progressed to becoming a deacon in 2022. Stephen is actively involved in the church Bible study and media department. Stephen is married to Ebun. Outside of the church, Stephen is also a Street Pastor in the Barking and Dagenham borough.
Stephen has a passion for the word of God and church growth. He is self-employed, and currently researching and writing a book on relationships and marriage.
